1st New Moon of 2018 in Capricorn: Reinforcing Intentions, Manifesting Dreams!

Moon Goddess by Josephine Wall

New beginnings, fresh starts, solid developments or even endings (the cycle of life-death-rebirth...), of anything than no longer serves you.
An inspiring thought adapted from my partner Kris Deva North:
Reflecting on the challenges and triumphs of 2017 and it's Chinese New Year (still on for one more month), wondering if I treated those just the same, and looking ahead to the Dog walking in and the Rooster crowing out.

A few things for you to meditate on, whatever works for you: seated in meditation, lying down on the bed or simply contemplating the view. Here it is:
  • Everything and everyone you are grateful for.
Give them a hug, (energetically or physically), ah, and this includes self-hug! (appreciation for your body and whole self!) ;) As well, to everyone you are grateful for, let them know!
    • What you have done and have not done this year? (Based on the goals and ideas you set out to achieve, put in practice on 2017.)
Although be light hearted about this: I believe it's not an understanding from the mind, but more from the heart, which cultivates the acceptance of your own nature and life circumstances. It's really no point to focus on the negative, just take it as ways to improve something or even to change it; as well as motivation and goals to achieve in future, as everything happens in the right time... the Divine Plan, transcends us all!...
So going a little bit deeper:
    • What was your biggest challenge and your bigger satisfaction?
To stir a bit of philosophy into it, something I received from my family when I left my country, to embrace the unknown, a card with this sentence:
"The bigger the challenge, the bigger the satisfaction."
(From a Greek philosopher that I forgot the name), this made lots of sense, and still does. Challenges are incredible gifts, some really hard; but I think they are our great teachers, indeed gateways for growth and evolution, along with so much wisdom and self-awareness.

And being in the 'quoting mode', another thought:
"Never lose your faith. The best beginnings come after the worst endings." Bob Marley.
In Portugal we have a saying: After the storm comes the calm.

And finally something for you to write down (or just run it through your mind, whatever works better for you) :
    • Where have you been? (Different places, travels you have done, doesn't matter the distance.)
    • What did you do? (The highlights of the most exciting things you did this year, in any level, something that really means a lot to you...)
    • What did you learn? (In the different levels of your being.)
If is something that no long serves you and you don't want to see repeating in your life, just not external situations, but things in yourself you want to let go, to give space for the new! You can write them down in a small piece of paper and then:
      • Take a quiet moment to reflect on everything you wrote, read it out loud and in a place in nature, you burn the paper. As the ashes fall to Earth, the smoke rises to the Sky, as above, as below, so within! (If you have any sacred place where you do your rituals indoors, like a cauldron or a stove, it's fine, but then give the ashes to Earth). The fire has the power to transform, supported by the unconditional nurturing of Mother Earth and divinity of Father Sky.
This first New Moon of 2018 in Capricorn, reinforcing the energies of new beginnings for the New Year and specifically: the energy of determination to accomplish your goals, dedication and confidence to do what you want to do, to achieve ambitions and have the stamina to do it.
Capricorn being connect with the earth teaches about grounding, essential to help us in our achievements and indeed embody presence - be here in the now!
      •  Write down your goals and dreams for 2018!
Be specific in your goals and dreams, and less is more, so make the list that you believe with your mind, heart, and soul can be possible to achieve in the coming New Year.
Then you just have to do your bit in the mundane dimension, along with visualisation (that is actually happening, even when not yet!), to make into a living reality!

***Wishing you a wonderfully fantastic 2018! It is unfolding with new opportunities to Live Your Truth, embrace yours Divine Feminine essence, and Manifest your Dreams***

May your radiant Feminine self shines, contributing for a better and beautiful world!

        Pleasure List To Do

My suggestion just not for the new year, but for life, anytime you come across this article is:
A Pleasure List of Things to Do!!
Yes, I really mean it and highly suggest it, you know as well as me how good we are making these lists "To Do"...
And do you put yourself in the top of your list to do?
That comes up quite often at our Jade Circles.
This emerged when I was being pampered in a spa in India...
I was having such a pleasurable time and thinking "I really enjoy this...". The other thought that follow was: "What really gives me pleasure this life?... All levels pleasure: body, mind and spirit..."
So I suggest this for you:
        • In your mind go through everything that gives you pleasure. I can extend this to everything that makes you happy, really makes your heart smile and your whole being feeling great!  And this should really include everything! I know some things involve some cost* (my example of going to the spa), but others not (being in nature for example).
        • Then write down your Pleasure List To Do.
        • Next step is to everyday make sure that you do one of the things from your Pleasure List To Do (more, better; but keeping simple goals, make them achievable... everything else is a wonderful extra!)
*To the things that give you pleasure (make you happy) that involve a cost:
        You can make them happen!
        How?!
Put your intentions (this means believe you can do it!) to have the resources to do it so...
Also is about choices and the priorities in your life; which we associated normally with responsibilities.
But is indeed a responsibility to feel good and happy, to prioritise ourselves!
I found by choosing pleasure, feeling recharged and inspired, I get the energy and power to manifest what I need to take care of my responsibilities... The other thing that comes with it is trusting that the Universe provides everything we need at the time...

Another thing I found useful and relate to it, if not daily, every so often is to ask to myself these three questions:
*** Am I where I want to be?
*** Am I doing what I want to do?
*** Am I with who I want to be?

I'm quoting my beloved partner Kris Deva North, from his great e-book From Stress to VITALITY NOW! Secrets of Love and Life Mastery for Men and Women - definitely recommend it!

All to say my dears: to enjoy life, celebrate your beautiful and Divine Feminine self and be happy! And happiness is not to be wished but to be taken!... Carpe Diem! (the Latin to enjoy life as if it's your last day; or as in the dictionary "to make the most of the present time and give little thought to the future")
